I live in the USA but will travel to Guang Dong (Dong Guan, Qing Xi to be exact). I want to be able to use the internet on my laptop there. I know there are internet stations/computer labs there and they charge by the minute but it would be convenient to be able to use my laptop anywhere anytime. Does anyone have any ideas?

Anywhere, Anytime means you would have to pay big bucks to a service provider like AT&T. You would have to set up there special card on your laptop. That’s the only way you can guarantee access from anywhere. That wouldn’t use the same WiFi card.
