I have a D-Link ADSL router and I have a switch to distribute internet connections to some of my users. But Other user has to access the server for other applications. While I am giving the network connection to users then internet also they can access. How do I block them to use internet and only use network applications only? If there is somesort of software that blocks internet access?
How can I stop my lan users to use internet?

There are some programs such as WinGate or UserGate (win32). You can control/allow/deny internet access in your LAN. The best way is to have Linux-based server with Squid installed.

While some routers have filtering, most do not, and some only a limited amount of control. If the environment is big enough to warrant at least a cheap server, using a server to filter the connections is the best way. You can do this just by firewall settings on most server systems. Linux is again the simplest most cost effective answer, but if you want to get the best return from the server you can also set up it’s Samba Windows server as domain controller and file server, in which case the use of the Squid proxy can be an unnecessary load. simply use it as an additional routing server and rely on the firewall. It additional provides an extra level of security to the network.

there is easier
in task bar double click on the blinking computer then properties
choose internet protocol in the list then properties
then let them get the ip automatically and no internet for them only network resourses
