   Depending on how many features you want, if there is logo design involved, are you happy using an existing program such as ecommerce.

   It depends on what you need but I would say it would cost $800+

   Figure from $30/hour to $125/hour, depending on how good the developer is. (Since you’re going to be risking your company if the site opens you to any liabilities, you want a really good developer.)

   It depends on the features you want to implement inside your website and number of pages.
   If you have an e commerce website with shopping cart, user login, and a database connectivity it will cost you a mininmum of $200 and a maximum depending on the features. if you can give me the specs maybe i can tell you an apprx amt.

   Well… if you will settle for a premade ecommerce program…then it won’t be nearly as much as if you make your designer do one for you. It REALLY depends on what you need also. You can generally email designer companies and ask for quotes. Ask around, see who will give you the best deal.

   I would go with a company though. There are lots of freelancers who will not do a very good job and still make you pay them alot!

   You should pay as little as you can. The average hourly rate depends on where you look for help. Without a clear understanding of what you want (that is, a specification / request for proposal), a price cannot be offered.

   Most mediocre Web designers charge in the $50 per hour range. Hire a mediocre contractor, get a mediocre result.

   When dealing with contractors, there’s a simple rule: Cheap, fast, good. Pick two.

   In other words, if you don’t want to spend much, your project will either take forever or be of low quality. If you are willing to spend lots of money, your project can be done quickly and well.

   That said, were I you I would be looking for someone to install and skin a copy of Zen Cart for me, and my budget would be $3,000 if I want to let it take some time, $5,000 if I want it done quickly.

   I’d suggest first checking with your hosting company as they often work out partnerships with designers that can provide you with a better price than if you go freelance.

   Most decent freelance designers are going to charge you the equivalent of $85/hour. If they offer to design the site for cheaper and aren’t affiliated with a company that can provide them with a means to cut costs (such as a quality hosting company, or a larger design house) you’re likely getting someone new to the industry, or someone who isn’t good enough to facilitate your solution.
