That’s confusing. You said your your company provided you with a personal Web site, then you said your on MySpace.
Regardless, no one will take you seriously (professionally) if you send them to a MySpace page.
Set up a personal Web site:
WordPress.com is the best to get a fast start and it’s advertising-free hosting.
or, WordPress.org offers you more flexibility and control over the template, but you need your own hosting provider.
Add a professional blog content on it. You can read lots of details here:
Then market youself as your own personal brand. Go out and post articles and comments on industry sites to help establish yourself as a subject matter expert and possibly drive traffic to your Web site.
Put out a weekly podcast on a subject you are knowledgable about.
It all builds your reputation, which can lead to traffic and referrals.
To jump start traffic, invest in a paid Search campaign (Google Adwords). Define targeted keywords about your service and drive the traffic to your Web site.
Good luck!
