I have a year experience working as an online marketing manager or E-commerce Marketing Manager in NYC. What kinda of salary should I ask for when I am in the job market right now (located in NYC). Other qualifications are Google advertising professional and have a background in web analytics.

Unless you suddenly became more qualified (certificates or major accomplishments) between your last job and now, I would take the salary at your last position and add 5%-7%.
The cost of living went up approximately 3% last year. If they offer you slightly less than you requested, you’re still ahead of the curve.
Side note: “What ‘kinda’ of salary…”? Really? I hope your resume doesn’t look like that.

I will show you, step-by-step, how I closed a flood of leads into a million dollar a year super producer income.
