I’m 15 and I want to save some money for an iphone, a computer and a tv and all that kinda stuff. I was thinking that as I’m good at designing simple websites like for example onemorelevel.com (although I didn’t design that but I could have done) . I’m good at graphic design and making menus in flash and css and I can make good looking websites but just not very advanced ones that interact with the user. Well I was thinking that I could design websites for clients like small business and things like that that just want to advertise their services and then I would charge a small fee (about 50 pounds). Is there a demand for this type of web design
Is there a market for this type of web design?

Well, there is a lot of free templates on the web now-a-days so it could be quite hard to make money. Before you start creating websites you need to be confident with HTML, CSS, Photo shop/Fireworks and PHP for dynamic web pages. There of course is a demand for it but you can get it free.

there is definitely a market for them if you advertise say noe page sites for that price ( I call them net business cards)
as annswer one says tehre are many templates avaialable now but from my experience only a few run off them as they charge for the template ! (and you can pay a bit more to get it all done) as with the template you have to do the work still .. so yes there is plenty of scope for you … try local companies to see who you can approach (local workshops garages etc smaller shops etc) … if you know any that can do e-commerce as I suggested yesterday try this program to help with your design flair
and it also will help you get more confident with designs etc
