I used to have the regular Internet Explorer 8 which came with my new laptop. But i recently switched to Internet Explorer 8 Optimized for Yahoo. It is strange and the script seems to be much to big for the page. I would like to go back to the regular Internet Explorer 8, but I dont
know how. Please anyone who has any idea how to do this, let me know.

Internet Explorer 8 Optimized for Yahoo isn’t a browser……it just brands you browser and puts ad ware on your computer
I downloaded IE and installed it over the “optimized” version and it set everything back to IE standards

Uninstall it from Add and remove programs(it’s listed under updates)
If it reverts back to IE 7 then reinstall from:

its the same thing, it just has some yahoo stuff like the toolbar and some sites added into it. just delete the sites on the favorites bar and turn off the toolbar and ull hav the regular IE8. and dont listen to the firefox fans. i was on firefox and i switched to IE8 because of the useful features.
