You have to figure out what the unusual activity might be. Could it be someone was trying to hack your account? Another thing that can cause it is trying to send very large files, like movies, software/applications (which would be pirating if you’re sharing licensed applications, and is illegal). From what you said about the alternate account being banned, it seems like whatever you were doing in the Yahoo account that was suspended, you were also doing with that account, which you said was banned because of overuse, which has to be their term for unusual activity. There’s no such thing as sending too much mail as long as the mailings aren’t anything out of the ordinary, or unless you’re doing unusually large bulk mailings, which could also be cause for concern for any mail service provider. As for closing the Yahoo account, by now your account is likely suspended permanently, so no longer exists anyway. So starting over would be best. But pay close attention to how you’re using your accounts…. seems like you must be doing something out of the ordinary to cause 2 accounts to be closed.
