I paid for a featured listing with yahoo Real Estate Classifieds but the listing never posted even though they charged my card. The email address given classifieds-featured@yahoo-inc.com bounced. Another email they gave was valid, however, they replied just saying they don’t offer support for classifieds and I should look online for my answer. I sincerely doubt anyone here or in their help FAQ can tell me why my classified isn’t being posted in the featured area and there is no telephone number to call. Advice? This is so frustrating! How can they take money and not offer support?
yes, but since yahoo comes up high on search engine rankings it;s like they know they have you…terrible. All they offer is to give you a refund.

I was scammed out of about $20,000 by a guy using a fake business name in another state. I was in contact with him by e-mail and phone, I wired the money to a business account at Bank of America.

Would it be best to go after his bank account since he must have used his name and SS# to open the account and therefor we will be able to identify him?

or,

Is there a way to track his phone number? (probably a prepaid cell phone which cannot be tracked to anyone)

or,

Is there a way to reliably track his e-mail back to him? ( I have been told that this can be done, but it would be hard to tell if this individual was the one using it or if someone just bounced their email off of someone else’s ip, therefor not very reliable.)

I’ve used Yahoo Mail for a number of years. I’m very happy with the Yahoo Mail web interface — but I’d also like to be able to use IMAP email clients. I currently have a paid subscription for POP3 and SMTP access, but IMAP would be a much more convenient option.

Google recently added free IMAP support, and for the first time I’m tempted to switch to a different mail provider. I’m hoping that Yahoo might at least indicate whether they plan to provide IMAP in the near future, because I’d rather not have to change my email address. I don’t mind paying extra for this service.

my email is now bouncing and my alternate email is now banned due to over use can anyone help or should I close the account and dump yahoo altogether?

ok so i had *** with my ex while me and my b/f split up.me and my ex had *** 5 days before period also the next morning after me and my ex had *** i went and got the morning after pill just in case well 5 days later my period did come (3/8/08) but how do i know if i was preggo!because i took a test two weeks later and it was negative i took another test after that week and it was still negative well me and my b/f got back together after my period and we had *** non stop i been with him ever since (after my period) well i am pregnant and i have recieved 3 ultrasounds my 1st one said i was due 12/14/08 the second said 12/6/08 and the third one said 12/8/08 so according to these due dates what is the possibility of my ex being the father remember we had *** 5 days b4 my period the next morning i took the morning after pill and my period did come (but im not sure if i was a period it did last 5 days but i been reading things and it says u can get ur period and b preg

I am still not receiving all of my mail from my group! I have tried: changing my Yahoo ID, unsubscribing and re-subscribing to my list, making sure my mail option is set to individual emails, and my account is not bouncing. Not only do I not receive the mail in my inbox but for some reason I cannot even forward the posts from the site to my inbox- they just never show up. When I click on “reply” I get “message has no body” most of the time. I have tried to contact Yahoo about the problem several times and have had no reply. It’s really frustrating trying to participate in a group and not having access to all of the mail. Help please!

I am twenty two years old and my girlfriend is twenty years old. We have dated off on for the last three years. Almost two years ago we broke up and she started dating another guy named David. She then found out she was pregnant. She told me right after we broke up she went to a party and she remember drinking to much and she had a one night stand with a guy there but didn’t really know him. So she said the baby could be mine or David’s or a result of this one night stand. So I stayed friends with her and I really wanted the baby to be mine because I loved her so much. She had the baby last February of 2008. It was a boy and we named him Branden. Shortly before Branden was born we got back together. Then a few months later I learned through dna test that Branden wasn’t mine son or David’s he was the result of the one night stand. This hurt me so bad, we split up for a while and she got back with David. I missed her and Branden so bad I asked her if I could be Branden father because I had already signed his birth certificate. She agreed and shortly after this things didn’t work out with her and David so we got back together. Then a month later she found out she was pregnant again and we both figured it was mine. The three weeks ago she gave birth to a little girl we named Emma. Then we realized the baby was early and after a dna test it turned out Emma isn’t mine but is David’s. I don’t know what to do. Then to make matters worst she told me she still loves David and she is moving in with him. I told her that Branden would always be my son and no mattered what happens between us I want to always be there for him. I love her so much but I feel if doesn’t work at with David she will want to get back with me. I just wish Emma would of been mine. What should I do?

Yahoo mail will not allow me to open up email attachments. Your site as an internet provider is simply going to hell. It is getting worse every day. If you are going to offer a service, then have the decency to assure it works properely. If you can’t do this, perhaps we all need to go over to AOL…

I’ll try and keep this as short as possible.Today I booked a holiday online.As my printer is broken I tried to email the confirmation notice on to my mum so she could print it for me.The email kept getting bounced back to me as recipiant not found or something.A few minutes later I got an email from a total stranger saying my confirmation notice had popped up in his inbox so he was returning it to me.On closer inspection I nearly fell off my chair! The guy has the same name as my mum’s partner who died a few years ago! I just had to forward it on to her,this time the email worked fine.So,on Valentines day she ended up with an email from someone with the same name as the one person she wanted to hear from but thought she never would again.I am very much a sceptic,a level headed person but this gave me chills. Your opinion please.
