My stepdaughter’s cellphone was dropped. The screen is unreadable. She has been, very politely, continuing to use it in that condition for months & months, now. Our contract just renewed, so we ordered new phones for all of us.

She would like to get the phone numbers & contact info from one phone to another. Old phone is a Sony Ericson. New phone is a Motorola Razr.

We are staying with AT&T Wireless for our provider.

If she can figure out how to copy the data to her sim card, without seeing the screen, will she be able to use the sim card in the new phone?

If not, is there a service she can call that will be able to grab the data off of her phone and then put it on a new phone? Or, grab the data off of her phone & email it to her, so that she can manually enter the data on the new phone?

Could they help us solve this at our local AT&T store? (We ordered the phones & renewed the contract online)

I currently have Sprint as my provider. She wants the Blackberry “Curve”, but I feel that we can get along fine with a Palm Centro, Motorola Q or the new Samsung Ace. The price of the actual phone is not an issue. I’ll be using my phone for email & internet browsing. She’s more into texting and e-mail (though she’ll be accessing the web also). With my current Sprint plan, full internet service would be included. The Blackberry network would cost me an additional $30/ month per phone. Any suggestions from actual experience with both email networks?
I’m not looking to switch from Sprint

Iphone pros and cons?
i am still trying to find out if the iphone is right for me. i like the way it feels and works. i like all the option with all the different applications.

here is what i use my phone for: a phone(obviously), texting, camera, some internet(email and searching stuff, sports scores etc…), games.

i have at&t as my provider.

i currently don’t have an internet plan on my black jackII which is an amazing phone. it is really simple to text and email due to the qwerty keyboard.

does anyone have an i phone? any pros and cons you can give me?

how is the plan? is it true that you have to have the internet service plan in order for the phone to operate?

how in the touch screen response? how is reception?

any info in helping determine if it would be worth getting the phone and adding the unlimited internet.

I am Alltel. When it says “You may bring your number over from any other provider.” Does that mean I can SWITCH my alltel service to the sprint phone? My sister said “No, you can’t do that! They want you to become Sprint!” And I said, “No! You didn’t read it right!” And then I said “whatever” And she threw something at me.
So, may you please explain?

Please I would like some assistance as to how I am to stop the alerts being sent to my old cell phone number each time I receive an email in my hotmail account.

This is an Australia Mobile Phone service, yet I would appreciate it if I could make the changes on the internet via hotmail or the relevant provider. Ultimately I would like to know how to turn off the feature permenantly if nothing else works.

Your help would be greatly appreciated. Thankyou

Ok, I found 2 awesome phones from my plan provider, AT&T. My contract is expiring, and I am stuck on 2 phones. If you know or have heard anything about these phones, do tell. I need Pros and Cons! Which phone should i get?

-oh, i love taking vids and pics
-i am a MAJOR texter
-i dont make many calls
-i am not very picky about internet, im never on it (that includes email, news, im, etc)
-i would like a sleeker phone, easy to use, yet never boring
-if i could record music then apply it as a ringtone, that’d be great.
-im not too picky about phones overall.

I have a blackberry Pearl, but do not have the blackberry service. (I just use it as a regular phone.) I have tried on several occassions to download a ringtone from the AT&T website (my provider), but I never a receive the text message to continue. I have text messaging – just not the blackberry email messaging. What am I doing wrong, or can I even download ringtones without the service?

I don’t want to have internet on my plan but I want to go on the internet on my LG Shine, without paying for it. I have heard of someone doing this but I forgot to ask and I do not have any contact with the person any more.

I do not have a plan to use internet, but i know you can still use it. Does it cost minuets from your plan or is it just extra on your bill. If so how much?

I haven’t been able to keep up with all of the latest phones recently.

I would prefer the best method of web browsing on the largest screen which does so, and ability to run software, games and etc. Also to act as an internet tether.

I would like purchase the best phone I can currently buy on the market for these things.
