I know I’ve already asked a million questions about bleaching, but I’m doing it next week and want to be prepared.

Here’s some background info–my mom’s best friend is doing it at her house {she’s a liscensed hairstylist} with a 40 vol bleach kit I got from Hot Topic. I’ve been going easy on washing my hair, and conditioning the hell out of it so it’s in better shape, because I have a lot of split ends and pretty dry hair. I’m also going to do a strand test to see how it goes.

After I bleach it, am I going to need purple-based toner? I sort of bleached it once before, from dark brown and it turned yellow and orange. Can I just attempt to bleach it straight to a yellow-blonde, and then dye it ash blonde? If I’m going to dye it ash blonde, can I do that in the same day, or will it be too much?
