I accepted a personal check from a renter and then I held it for three weeks before depositing it. The check bounced and the person emailed me to notify me of alternate payment (which was good) saying it wouldn’t have bounced if I had been more prompt in depositing it. That made me angry. I wouldn’t normally hold a check that long, but I did and I don’t consider it my fault that they didn’t keep funds available for three weeks. I know I am right from a legal standpoint- but ethically- is 3 weeks too long? Was that rude?

A few years ago I wanted to buy something off of an internet shop so I put my order in and sent a check for $300. Six months later I still hadn’t received anything in the mail but my check still had not cleared. I moved away to another state and closed down that whole bank account because they did not have one where I was living. I transfered all my money over to a new bank. I never received anything, no email from the company, nothing in mail.

If they tried to cash it afterwards, it would have bounced wouldn’t it? Someone would have come after me now wouldn’t they? Did I commit a crime? I am scared to visit that state again in case I am wanted for fraud or something.

ok so i ordered this package and in my email it has a link which can lead me directly to tracking it ok so i track it and it says its supposed to be delivered today and it says in transit and its delivered to 30 minutes from where i live COMMERCE CITY COLORADO

ok so i go to the official ups site and track it and it says rescheduled for 8/1709

ok what the hell!!!!!!! and it says its in utah so which one should i go with this is pissing me off!!!!!!!!!

I run a fitness center and when I am out of the office I get many telephone inquires and have trouble keeping up on who called and when I need to call them back and It seems I am loosing many leads because of my inability to manage theese calls effectivly. I was curious to see if there was any software out there that would assist me in keeping things in order. I am kind of having the same problem with email as well. So if you know of something for both…that would be awsome!!
