why is the internet so slow?

The flashing thing when you’re about to type something on anything, word or internet explorer. I click anywhere on any internet browser and the flashing thing appears on the word or picture even if it isnt a type in box. It is really annoying and i hope you know what i mean by “the flashing thing” – the line that blinks in and out when your about to start a sentence.

It has been working fine until about yesterday. The main computer is directly wired to the router but my computer and my ps3 are connected wireless. Everything says there is a full signal but the connection seems to be jacked. When I play a game online, I am laggy and the game moves slow. The computers are both very fast but the internet moves really slow. I know that’s not right seeing that one of the computers is brand new. As I said before, the signal strength is excellent but the internet is trippin. What seems to be the problem?

I am starting to be an independant rep for a company that has provided me with a personal web site, which Im trying to market online. Does anyone have any suugestions of where and how to do this. I am on myspace so any suggestions regarding that would be great to!

I search something on the internet, and the words are huge and when i click on a link, it puts a tab and sends me to another website that wasn’t even close related. When this started happening, my internet got 200x’s slower also.

Can you help me and see whats wrong with this problem?

IE, Mozilla or w/e, and Opera.

I’ve been using Internet Explorer for a while and have a bunch of favorites
but would like to have them in my firefox browser because Internet Explorer keeps crashing.
Any helpful tips?

I somehow know that they are all a part of a whole, but can somebody define which is which and what does what?

Whenever someone searches my name on the Internet, it brings up this question I asked on a PHP mailing list. Is there a way for this not to appear?

A few days ago, on start up, i found my computer had a corrupt System32 file, so i reinstalled windows. I booted up my computer and it wouldn’t connect to the internet. I have a cable running from my DSL hub to my room. Before I had to reinstall windows (XP by the way) I would just plug the cable into the back of my computer and i would be automatically be connected to the internet. Now i plug the cable in and nothing happens. Can someone please help.

now i just changed my layout and everything and even my password./…but now when u roll over the top half of my page it turns gray and when u click it it leads u to the “login page” of myspace but it really isnt the REAL login place, it just steals ur email and ur password from you…

why is this happening to my page? do u think its just my layout? or a certain code that i used that messed it up? or is this happening to everyones page? did it even get hacked or what? i want ppl to be able to view my picvs but now they cant cus theyll get lead into the hacker login thing…
