In communist countries the government officials tell you what you can watch and read. They don’t feel the population is capable of making a sound decision for themselves or the government. If you disagree with the communist perspective on media there is something you can do. In the USA many are sick and tired of the bias and negative ads and media. Just bringing up the subject can raise someone’s blood pressure.

We live in the computer age! Most of us can filter our emails. In Face Book you can give thumbs up or down to an advertisement. If you give a thumbs down they ask you why. We should be able to block ads that are offensive by topic or ad agency. We should be able to control what news we read. Just think if you were reading the news online and found an article offensive, misleading or wrong you just blocked the author, media source or topic, which ever was appropriate. Right now these people feel if they throw enough media at you they can influence the way you think. What if they couldn’t do that anymore! What if they realized you had shut them off, do you think that would influence the media. Think about the political ads your being exposed to constantly! Some may think they are extremely negative and offensive. They know right now you are stuck. If you’re watching TV you can mute it or change the channel, you can put down a magazine or newspaper which many of you have done. Look at the impact you’ve had on TV and print media. But on your computer you had to installed pop up blockers so they just buy ad space or put news stories in front of you that are really propaganda and spin. So ask for the right to put them down, shut them off. Say no to bias media! Believe me the advertisers will pay attention. The news agencies will pay attention if they get blocked on enough computers. This isn’t censorship because you are doing it for you; someone else isn’t censoring what you are reading. The neither government, nor political parties should be able to control what you read and watch, just say no!

If you are a fan of the movie and book the Secret they tell us to focus on what we appreciate and avoid what we don’t. Your blood pressure will go down.

So, if you agree with the above copy then email this to your on line news source and or your home page provider. Tell them you want control of what you read and view including but especially ads and news. Ask your news service and or home page to be part of the solution and not part of the problem. This will change the bias media we have and the polarizing politicians will have a hard time getting to us. Let’s take back our free press and bring our country back together by cutting of the oxygen of the bias media and negative politicians. Show them you can think for yourself.

I accepted a personal check from a renter and then I held it for three weeks before depositing it. The check bounced and the person emailed me to notify me of alternate payment (which was good) saying it wouldn’t have bounced if I had been more prompt in depositing it. That made me angry. I wouldn’t normally hold a check that long, but I did and I don’t consider it my fault that they didn’t keep funds available for three weeks. I know I am right from a legal standpoint- but ethically- is 3 weeks too long? Was that rude?

About a month ago I was looking on yahoo answers for questions about car insurance and I noticed two accounts where constantly mentioning Landa Insurance (www.landainsurance.com) and I looked into that company.

The website is obviously seedy and they take paypal, etc. I called the guy on his phone number (which i found out is a cell phone) and he provided me with temporary insurance cards and explained that he is an underwriter for Continental Group Insurance.

I paid $499 for the full coverage auto insurance.

After I got the final product i noticed these things are really, really poorly made so I started making phone calls to Continental Group.

End result CGI never sells car insurance, they’ve never heard of Landa Insurance, nor do they have an agent named Bob Warren, and the insurance policy I was sold matched a medicare supplement policy they issued.

First I called the local dallas police department where this guy was operating out of and filed a complaint, second I disputed it with paypal.

Paypal responded that they cannot guarantee virtual goods. I bounced several emails back and forth with them explaining it wasnt virtual but all I got was repetitive copy and paste emails talking about ebay.

So bottom line, I ordered a charge back on my mastercard.

Now today I get the email that they are looking into with the seller.

How is paypal going to react on this and how long until this is closed?

I am a seasonal web developer. I also resell hosting services to some of my clients. Recently, all the emails sent from my client’s hosting accounts to Yahoo Mail end up in Spam directory. They were fine before (email delivered to in-box), the problem just happens recently and it happens to all of my client’s hosting accounts.
I have contacted the web hosting provider ( scalahosting ) and they said the problem is with yahoo, their server is fine, and the problem just happen to me, no one else has complained except me.

Does anyone know what may have caused the problem

well me and my boyfriend had *** on the 2nd November at about 2pm and the condom split. We debated about having children but decided we wasn’t financially stable yet so i took the morning after pill on the 5th November at 1pm. Which i know was very close to not being able to use it. i Normally get my period on the 18th which is today but i think my cycle has been messed up because of the morning after pill. i took a pregnancy test on the 15th but it was negative. But the thing is i keep having really bad mood swings and pains like period pains, ive been having these for 2 weeks now. So i duno what to think, am i pregnant or not? and shall i just keep taking tests till my period starts (if it ever does) because ive heard taking the morning after pills sometimes makes you miss a month.

this is a short version of my situation I’m not looking for criticism or sympathy but would like some opinions! I was dating this guy for a total of 3 years with a 7 mth split in between. I have endometrosis and was rejected of bc by my ob because of irregular bleeding i was supposed to start on lupron 28 days after stopping bc which would’ve put my body into full menopause for only 6 mths. He knew this..so it wasn’t brand new info. He has a son by a previous relationship and is a good dad, but I have repeated to him numerous times that I didn’t want anymore kids right now because I already have 2. this is alittle personal but I even went as far as buying condoms.. well in our drinking nights we would be having *********** and I would tell him to pull out…he would start saying things like it’s going to be okay…but then when he was done he would act like he pulled out but nothing there. I would get mad and question and he would say it’s on him lol..
2 weeks of just getting off bc I found out I was pregnant..only 5 weeks..SHOCKED! I bought like 4 tests showed him and he then decided to tell me he wants nothing to do with me or baby and to get an abortion and the baby is nothing but egg yolk at that time. but if I went threw abortion he would work things out with me. I told him I can’t deal with an abortion. So he broke up with me then comes back with giving me a 300 check and told me to get ride of it or he wouldn’t be no part. So we break up and still confused of even how this happened or in shock. He contacts me saying I’m selfish and abortion is the right way and he feels sorry for me and i did this to keep him around and stuck..Which is hilarious to me. I’m know 8 1/2 weeks and starting to feel better about this pregnancy and doing it alone but he still emails me saying i’m in the wrong and still trying to keep him in my life and did this on purpose to trap him and this is not going to fix us! I KNOW some people get what they deserve sometimes but the man to pin point him is 32 lives alone has tons of toys and bikes..property..and when we were dating wouldn’t do pitty crap for me nor did i ask because he was really a man that well…. I would have to support myself basically. anyways, he came over christmas eve to tell me that he got a letter in envelope from court and ANOTHER woman is saying he fathered her 1 1/2 yr old and wants a dna test. so now he has 2.5 kids with 3 different woman.
basically I want to keep this baby and not to keep him around and I feel strong and weak..it’s hard being a single parent then i ask is this right. Abortion just isn’t’ an option for me. I can’t see an adoption when I am a great mother to my 2 now. I just feel I should let him go and don’t contact him my family says keep the 300 and have the baby I’ll be fine is that wrong and to keep money that was intended on an abortion? he told me tonight by email he want’s the check in mail tomarrow. but I’m hurt and disgusted of the crap that he said. how can men act like that? please give some points without being rude…
I re-read wow that was long sorry..but most people u didn’t get whole story…anyway what I mean’t in a certain part is I’m getting slammed by him saying to me “do you think this baby is going to keep me around? this isn’t going to fix us.” so basically making me feel like he thinks this was planned to pin!
