I recently set up a website aimed at street cat rescue and it had no advertising etc, but apparently it was shut down by yahoo today for my violating policies here at answers! I never posted anything offensive like porn, only posted re these kitties needing homes…but when they shut my account down, my emails associated with the domain also became inaccessible. When I email the address, the email doesn’t bounce back..so I’m wondering if I’ll be able to ever get these back? They had all the contact details for people offering to give these homeless kitties homes.

Somehow I got on AOL and thought I was upgrading my AIM instant messenger. Somehow I deleted the AIM Instant Messenger. Now I can’t get my AIM messenger back. I tried removing AOL and the computer tells me I do not have any versions of AOL installed. But I cannot get my AIM messenger back except thru AOL and I understand that they will bill me eventually for their services. I have tried downloading the AIM messenger but it always asks for a screen name and password. I do not remember the original screen name and password and to get AOL to give you the password it looks like I would have to go to AOL as my internet provider. I have a Dell computer–Windows XP. I am 79 years old and really do not understand what is going on as I only use the computer for playing Literati and emails. Please won’t someone help me? If you have an email address for AOL, please send it so that I can notify them that I do not want their internet service. Thanks so much. hcooper547@hotmail.com
Since the email address I got with my broadband was impossible to remember (it was similar to, but not HDV1675385G before the @ symbol) I bought my surname as a .com so I could be firstname @ lastname . com.
Well, right now I’m getting about 1000 bounced spams every day, since the slime buckets have hijacked my domain name and are sending out their junk emails with my email address as the ‘from’ field.
I purchased a Plus account over 3 years ago, and recently got rid of my old debit card, bank account, and email address. I opened up and payed for a new Yahoo Plus account.
Yahoo tried to reimburse my old debit card what was due. The money was sent back to yahoo because my account was closed.
Yahoo claims that they WILL NOT reimburse me in any other fashion.
I spoke to several people among supervisors and they wll led me astray. HOW DO I GET MY MONEY BACK, from the greedy pigs at YAHOO?
some unhappy spammer put my faked email address on autoresponder and flooded my group with messages containing my faked email address, message containing virus. Yahoogroup, without confirming the message originality, simply disabled my Yahoogroup account. As being the owner-moderator of the group, I am not able to operate/moderate my group messages and also unable to change ownership of the group as I am the only onwer/moderator of the group. My group is still there, but my account is disabled. Is there any way to change ownership of my group, by confirming personal details or any other ways?
Only yahoogroups has disabled my account. But, I can log into my Yahoo! Mail account. My Yahoogroup is also still there. But, my Yahoogroup account is disabled. I have posted the matter via a form in Yahoogrups’ help site and have also mailed to abuse@yahoo.com and abuse@yahoogroups.com Still waiting for their reply.
