As the question says, erm well, are they? Anybody know?
Just wondered because I live in the UK and I’m with Pipex Homecall who are associated with Tiscali. I was doing a Hijack this log and the 017 entries (there was 2 of them) were different to that of the IP address at Shields UP. I had went to Shields UP to check my firewall was working effectively.
Wondering about this I went to – http://www.whois.sc/ & entered the IP address from my HJT log & it said AT&T world services USA.
The IP address that shields up – https://www.grc.com/x/ne.dll?bh0bkyd2 – said I had, when entered at the whois site said it was Tiscali UK, which is right.

So anyway after all this blathering on and me showing off my computer prowess and technical terms (I’m a bit cack aren’t I?) does anyone have any idea if AT&T world services have any thing at all to do with Tiscali. I have emailed my internet provider and I’m still waiting a reply.
Any help would be much appreciated.

Kind regards, Linda

I am still not receiving all of my mail from my group! I have tried: changing my Yahoo ID, unsubscribing and re-subscribing to my list, making sure my mail option is set to individual emails, and my account is not bouncing. Not only do I not receive the mail in my inbox but for some reason I cannot even forward the posts from the site to my inbox- they just never show up. When I click on “reply” I get “message has no body” most of the time. I have tried to contact Yahoo about the problem several times and have had no reply. It’s really frustrating trying to participate in a group and not having access to all of the mail. Help please!

some unhappy spammer put my faked email address on autoresponder and flooded my group with messages containing my faked email address, message containing virus. Yahoogroup, without confirming the message originality, simply disabled my Yahoogroup account. As being the owner-moderator of the group, I am not able to operate/moderate my group messages and also unable to change ownership of the group as I am the only onwer/moderator of the group. My group is still there, but my account is disabled. Is there any way to change ownership of my group, by confirming personal details or any other ways?

Only yahoogroups has disabled my account. But, I can log into my Yahoo! Mail account. My Yahoogroup is also still there. But, my Yahoogroup account is disabled. I have posted the matter via a form in Yahoogrups’ help site and have also mailed to abuse@yahoo.com and abuse@yahoogroups.com Still waiting for their reply.
